DAABON joins forces in the Mediterranean area of Europe

11/01/2017

The DAABON Group, Jules Brochenin S.A. and Bonabio have decided to join forces in DAABON Europa GmbH to improve the organic oils supply to the Mediterranean markets of Europe.
Diego Garcia’s Jules Brochenin S.A. and Bonabio operations in palm and coconut oils will be transferred to DAABON Europa GmbH. Mrs. Sandrine Crassous will continue serving current customers and will help expand the strategic supply of fresh organic quality products, such as: palm and coconut based oils, fractions, and shortenings.

These products have been awarded different demanding certifications such as; organic (EU, Japan, Korea, China, USA), fair trade (FLO-USA), sustainability (RSPO, Rainforest Alliance), and security (BASC).
The DAABON group has been one of the key players in the development of the organic agriculture industry by producing high quality oils in Colombia for the past 25 years. Along their way they have benefited a very complex social-environmental system, which covers agricultural employees, neighboring communities, the region and oil processing facilities.

Last year in 2016, DAABON was appointed as the best oil palm company according to the rankings of WWFGermany and of RSPO´s worldwide.
DAABON continues taking stakeholders on visits to the plantations in order to share our story about the positive impacts of these productions and in the near future it will hold training seminars with the participation of importers and affiliates.
Consistent with the above, we will participate in the BioFach trade fair from February 15 to 18, 2017 in Nuremberg as a great opportunity to exchange experiences and look at the organic future from different angles. Please visit our Stand-429 located in Hall 2.
